Ventzislav Blagoev was born in 1967 in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. At the age of 9 he began playing the trumpet and at 10 started his studies with Prof. Petar Karparov. He served his time as a soldier in the Folk Orchestra of the Labour Corps. From 1987 to 1992 he studied at the Music Academy Sofia. He became between 1993 and 1994 a student at the Jazz Department at Bruckner Konservatorium-Linz, Austria. From 1991 till 1996 he was soloist in the Bulgarian Army Symphony Orchestra, becoming the leader of "Phantasialand Dixie Band" Cologne, Germany in 1997-2000. He has performed with jazz, folk and symphony orchestras in Austria, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Romania, Belgium....More... |
